Fact is no one knows what the foreign policy of this administration is, including the State Department. What worries me most is that from the start Obama has seemed to be in favor of any movement in the Middle East that is away from support of Israel but supports the build up of the Muslim Brotherhood. There are supporters of the Brotherhood in his administration, one works closely with Hillary Clinton, the woman's family is very involved with a Muslim Brotherhood organization, I believe it has something to do with publishing information for them.
Obama has been absent from any leadership role that would have an effect in stopping the unrest in the Mideast. In my opinion, just from the information we see on Fox and other news entities, his only foreign policy seems to be support for any Muslim uprising. When the citizens in Iran cried out in the streets for the US to help them fight against their government he did nothing! In Syria where people are being murdered by the thousands by their government, he does nothing. If you read his books you'll see exactly where his politics and sympathies derive from.
When you see Liberal commentators who usually tear any Republican apart actually supporting Mitt Romney and defending his statements about the uprising and death of our Foreign Minister in Egypt on Monday 9/11/12, you know how off track and out of touch Obama is. One of the most concerning things is the report that he only attends about 48% of the Security Briefings which are held daily. His main job according to our Constitution is to protect the citizens of this country. He appears to have little interest in doing so. Even after the events this week he has still been absent from those meetings.
One wonders why. Why is our President always seem to be telling the world that we are no better than any other country. He has apologized to the world for the fact that we, the US, have apparently overstepped in many areas. If you have read his books and books written about him you'll see that his contempt for the exceptualism of the United States stems from his family and radical upbringing. His whole life he has been surrounded by radical thinkers, Marxist and Communist mentors. His father was a radical up riser who fought against Winston Churchill, hence one of his first acts as President was to remove the bust of Churchill and return it to the English Government. I believe it resides in the Embassy for the UK. A slap in the face to one of our strongest allies.
His parents have been described as radical, Marxist, Socialist and Communist. He was adopted by his stepfather and became a citizen of Indonesia, was schooled in an Islamic school about which he states the call to prayer was the most beautiful sound in the world. When he went to college he sought out radical teachers, this is all documented and he even tells how he did this in his books. At least one if not all of his professors were anti Israel. Is it a leap to believe he has not changed his ideals and beliefs?
We are in a scary situation in the middle East. It is very scary to have a Leader who does not want to go against the up risers and the countries that are allowing the Embassy's and Schools to be attacked. Instead he is at fund raisers and on the campaign trail. If you get a chance to see the movie called 2016 you will hear some of the information I've mentioned and much more.

What is Harry Reid afraid of?
I looked this up to see what it means because Harry has used this incessently!
By invoking a motion to Table EVERYTHING that has been passed by the House of Representatives, Harry Reid has Crippled this Nation. He has single handedly put our country on hold.
Between his actions and those of the President nothing has been allowed to pass through the Congress. There are Jobs bills on the table, although by the rhetoric you hear from the nuts like Pelosi you would think that the Republicans are somehow not producing anything and blocking legislation from going forth. Tired of hearing her ignorant remark, can't believe she thinks we are so out of touch that we can't see what's really happening. Maybe where she comes from they only listen to one side of an issue, the rest of us aren't that stupid.

Don't believe me? Just look at what happened a few weeks ago when Senator Rand Paul introduced an amendment to protect employee freedom for workers in the District of Columbia. Rather than even let a vote on the Right to Work amendment take place, Harry Reid withdrew the entire D.C. funding bill.
One local AFL-CIO union boss even admitted, "We would rather see the bill killed than accept" Right to Work in the nation's capital."
I think it's pathetic that the Unions have such control in this country. They Unionized workers comprise less than 14% of the population yet the Union Bosses control the Democratic party. Just look at what we went through in Wisconsin recently. Many people IN unions don't agree with the views of the Bosses, however they gave away the right to their opinion along with their dues. Harry and the Unions are in control.
In November we will take that power away from Good Old Boy Harry! Voice your opinions loudly and to everyone you meet, We'll only get our country back with Harry Reids defeat!

Dieting and Diabetes
During a friendly arguement my Grandmother told me long ago that I was full of "BS". Well like her I have aquired, rather caused myself to have Type 2 Diabetes. So Yes Grandma, I AM full of BS! Neither type is a good thing to be full of! lol Like her I have been able to control mine with pills.
I remember as a kid she would let us use her test strips to check our own. They didn't test blood at home in those days! We thought it was fun! I was always in the right color range :) I wasn't diagnosed until I was 56. I wasn't surprised, I had gained over 70 lbs within the 10 years leading up to that date. I was scarfing down carbs like there was no tomorrow. Then I'd get a grip, Diet for a few days then start having peanut butter sandwiches again at 3am! Not so good.
After being diagnosed I kept my levels really well. Great start. A1c's below 7, doing pretty good all around but I wasn't loosing weight, my levels earlier this year had crept up to between 120 and 170 in the am. Saw a picture of myself, was totally grossed out at what I had done to myself and decided to make a change.
I found a website, checked it out, bought the product, tried it, BS came down to within normal limits, have lost 16 lbs in 5 1/2 weeks and now I am writting about it! Don't look behind the curtain
I was trying to describe my thoughts about the Left's apparent strategy to get Obama reelected to my younger sister today. The only thing I could think of to describe it, is to compare it to the Wizard of OZ. When Dorothy returns with the witches broom the wizard is behind the curtains controlling the vision of a wizard that Dorothy can see. Toto pulls at the curtain exposing the Wizard and he announces in the microphone "I am the great and powerful OZ, ignore that man behind the curtain" It's getting too obvious that Obama is trying to pull our attention in directions that point anywhere but at the truth of his agenda.
First there was the new MANDATE for birth control and morning after pills etc., the Catholic church was correct in objecting to this. To appease them they were told that they would have a year to adapt to this. When that didn't work Obama and Sebilious changed the wording, (don't look behind the curtain) now the church organizations would not have to provide the objectionable items, their INSURANCE COMPANY would be mandated to provide them. How ignorant do they think people are? If the church has a problem with providing these items why would they purchase insurance that offered them? Pelosi said recently when explaining that she is indeed a "devout catholic", "but they have this conscience thing".
Well, their tactic didn't work, so as we are looking at the curtain, the wizard changes the view to a supposed currency challenged college student from one of the most elite schools in the US. She is a law student that complained that by the time she is out of Law School she will have spent over $3,000 on birth control. WOW! I have to agree with Rush's gut reaction to that disclosure, and it was I believe a gut reaction as he was quick to apologize for his choice of language.
This was out of character for him and the Left can't let it go. After trying to disparage Rush to his advertisers, which also didn't work, they changed the discourse to the Rights' "WAR Against Women" which also doesn't exist.
That isn't working for the Wizard either so NOW they throw Sarah Palin into the fray. The attempt to make her appear as if she is in anyway racist is pathetic. Using her commentary about Obama's apparent ideology is a sad recourse for a president to stoop to. She is NOT running for office. I can't figure out how her statements and their interpretation is supposed to negatively effect any one's way of thinking about the Republican Candidates or persuade anyone to support Obama? Breitbarts video showed Obama hugging Professor Bell who was a radical that made his dislike of WHITES seem almost a religion, you would think they would be very thoughtful when trying to characterize others of harboring hatred. Again "don't look behind the curtain" "I am the Great and Powerful OZ"
Obama has continually produced distractions that make many people take their eye off the current issue if it is one he knows is unpopular or controversial. The WAR on Women is one, as are the Palin Ads. Don't pay attention to the MANDATE, just look over here instead. If they get away with THIS mandate what will they MANDATE next? If you read through the Health care Bill you will be shocked to discover the amount of power Sebelious has over the whole of the US where our health care is concerned. The amount of possible future mandates is huge. She runs the whole thing and does not have to answer to Congress. The very thought that someone that is not an elected official has been given this much control of the country's future is an appalling power grab by this administration.
The political climate will only get worse as the discourse continues to decline during the remainder of this election season. Having heard the foul things that the supposed "journalists" on the Left have said about conservative women and getting away with them has been a real eye opener. It is very upsetting to see grown men display such LOW STANDARDS of discourse while holding themselves above us all. Their arrogance is beyond words. Do they realize how stupid they look to the rest of us that actually have standards of behavior and morals? I wonder if their parents are proud of the people they have become. I don't know any parents that pray for their child to become an adult that speaks so offensively about a woman just because he or she doesn't like the woman's political view. Can't imagine they'd be very proud of their offspring!

Why is defeating the Birth Control Mandate important to our Liberty?
These are scary times. We have a President who along with his HHS Secretary have issued a MANDATE that Birth Control including the Morning after pill be available to ALL women by All medical facilities for FREE! WOW! Of course we've all heard of the outrage by the Catholic Church. The President, after several days of heat said that he'd give them a year to make the transition. How thoughtful! After a few more days of Left wing rhetoric, with the Dem. Reps and Senators making statements that the Republicans didn't care about the welfare of women and that they wanted them barefoot and pregnant, the GOP stood with the Catholic church and condemned the mandate for what it is, a Presidential power grab meant to undermine the beliefs of many Americans.
The pressure kept up and the President backed off and changed the wording, now it would be the Insurance carrier of the Catholic Church that will have to offer it for free. Oh Really? Who pays the Carrier? The Catholic Church does and is it any different than mandating that they pay or that the insurance that they pay for has to offer it? It is sickening to think that this President thinks we are all so stupid that we can't see that NOTHING has changed except the wording?
Why in Heavens name should Birth Control of any kind be mandated to be given for FREE? Those who want it can get it from the all to infamous Planned Parenthood for little or nothing. I for one haven't heard the outcry on the street that "The Pill" was difficult to obtain for anyone. Have women been marching on Washington or calling for Senate hearings over this difficulty?
The SCARIEST part that we all need to be afraid of is the MANDATE itself! If these two can come up with this mandate just think what will be next. I can think of a few possibilities just by paging through Obama Care. What if the HHS Secretary gets it in her nut that Parents are not doing a good enough job feeding or caring for their children, will they mandate that the kids eat ALL meals at school or mandate that Social Services check every home and make decisions about the best interest of every child based on whether THE Health CARE guidelines are being met or if they think the parents are raising the children as they think appropriate. Heaven help the elderly, just think of the MANDATES that could shorten their lives. They may be mandated to stop all meds after a certain age, who knows.
All I know is that this is extremely upsetting to have the Government MANDATING that People receive ANYTHING or ANY SERVICE for free across the board regardless of the person's ability to pay. Why should any Drug company or any Insurance Carrier have to offer something totally free? NOTHING is FREE! We will all pay the cost of these "FREE" pills! Drug costs will raise along with Insurance policies! WE ARE NOT IGNORANT!
More than ever we need to get Obama out of office in November! Heaven help us if he is re-elected! The Stimulus that was supposed to create jobs immediately didn't work, the money never made it into the business community. It went to cities that used it for their own pet projects. Unemployment went from 7.3% to almost 10%, over that in some states, and now the WH says that it is at 8.3% but this is only because they adjust it by the amount of jobs available in the market place. In the real world where we use real numbers it is well over 9% that's before the people that are still unemployed but no longer on unemployment or no longer looking for a job are counted. The WH doesn't count them at all, they also don't consider the approximately 18% that are under employed or working part time due to lack of full time opportunities. In the REAL world those numbers matter but not in the math in the White House! Incredible!
Timothy Geitner (AKA Timothy tax evader) Was questioned about Obama's budget by the Budget committee and he was asked for his opinion on it. He stated that it offers no solutions but they don't like Paul Ryan's, which by the way offers solutions. Another person was asked of Obama's budget, when will the budget be balanced. He kept repeating components of the budget but no date. Each time the Senator asked for the date he started talking about the ideas in the budget, he was asked over 6 time to please just state a date, he couldn't and the Senator asking the question was told that he should forget about getting an answer because this person was apparently never going to be able to answer him. The truth about Obama's budget is that it will only add to the deficit over the next 10 years and makes no mention of fixing or making sure that SS or Medicare are sustainable.
Finally saw some Democrats stand up in the Senate and question the Presidents tax break renewal that he has been using as a campaign issue. He has been blaming the GOP for not caring about the middle class by not approving the renewal. Some Democrats have finally figured out that by renewing this tax break they are shorting the Social Security account and not finding other sources to make up the shortfall! The Senate Dems that spoke were angry and visibly upset that if they keep renewing this TAX HOLIDAY as it was called in the beginning, SS will totally collapse. Hope the public gets the message and holds him accountable.
In other news, I put my new "Support Scott Walker" sign up. The ground was soft due to the mild weather and it was easy to set in the front yard! Wish I had 10 more! Lets pray for our country and the new leaders we will be electing in Nov!

Dems in the House of Representatives giving me a headache today!
I honestly feel like my head is going to explode! If there is an ounce of intelligence in their rhetoric I can't find it!
I never listened to people distort and misrepresent information like this in all my days! The Republicans want to repeal the CLASS Act. It has been found that it cannot be implemented, many studies have taken place and the Act is dead. So the Dems are accusing the Repubs of trying to deny the elderly and poor of the long term care services that the Class Act would have provided. They apparently don't get the info that the Class act is over and done with. It CANNOT be implemented, the White House agrees with this information. During one speech, Rep Gwen Moore from Wisconsin even accused the Republicans of wanting to abolish Medicare! They don't read the bills or else they need interpreters to help them out with the reading. They all cannot have ADHD! They refer the majority as the Tea Party congress. I don't believe any of them have a clue about what the Tea Party is about. Statements were made that the Tea Party is happy to throw the elderly under the bus. REALLY? Also accused them of walking away from the Senior citizens and the disabled! OH MY! My head is swelling! I swear if they name the Tea Party with the 99% ers. I'll scream.
Like always they are making statements that the Majority has no interest in coming up with a Jobs program but prefers to spend their time on issues like this.
They won't let it go and have spent all afternoon, which could have been better spent on jobs bills by the way, making amendments to the Majority's legislation.
Can't listen to this carp any more. Think I'll see what the Senate is doing, OH WAIT they aren't able to do any work since Reid will not bring any legislation passed in the House to the floor for debate much less a vote! That building is like a vacuum.
OHHHH Switched to CSpan 2 the Senate station, Obama is on and the first thing I heard is fairness and responsibiity. He takes NO responsibility for any of the problems we are having. He says alot about this being a make or break moment for the middle class. He needs to wake up and see that he's already broken us. I need to turn him off. The misinformation is astounding about the Housing Market. No mention of the Clinton era bill that made the banks give loans to people who couldn't repay them. but I can't wrap my mind about ranting about that now. Just note that he won't mention that amoung the causes of the bubble bursting! Poor guy lost his place on the Monitor a couple of times and tripped over his words!

State of the Union, State of the State, Obama agree's with Walker on Education!
I was surprised many times during The President's State of the Union, he is suddenly agreeing with the Republicans on some of their key issues. He NOW says he's going to aggressively pursue every form of energy that is available in this country, (made me laugh out loud) Specified natural gas on Public lands. Something the Repubs have been pushing for awhile. Of course he gave a hint that this wouldn't happen any way because he stressed Safely and Cleanly, which as we all know means that the EPA regulations will get even tighter and the Natural gas will never make it out of the ground, just like the oil permits that he has allowed. He can still say in the end that he pushed for it although it will never happen. If he was so concerned about our energy and jobs in this country he'd stop playing politics and ok the Canada Pipeline!
I chuckled when he was speaking about Teachers! Seems like he isn't at all supportive of collective bargaining, not when he would like to bypass Tenure and other incentives that teachers unions push for. He said that Teachers should get merit pay and be kept on the job not by seniority but by excelling. Sounds like Scott Walker was on podium not Obama!
Speaking of Governor Walker, God Bless him, his State of the State was great. Unlike Pres. Obama, he was able to talk about the accomplishments he has made in his first year, balanced the budget and reduced taxes without laying off one state employee! He has added thousands of new jobs in the state. Our last Gov. (dem) lost well over 100,000. Gov. Walker has made great progress in only a year! Watching the Dem side of the aisle during his speech I was embarrassed for them. They were ignoring the speech all together, some were talking to others, some were on their computers, one tweaked some nasty comment about Gov Walkers "Wisconsin" accent. REALLY?????
Of course there were ignorant disruptive people in the gallery, which by the way was populated only by people that were invited to attend. Apparently one or more of the Democrats in the State Congress thought it would be a HOOT to try to disrupt the Governors speech with some of the Protesters that camp out in the Capitol. There were four different screamers which were quickly removed. Our Governor never missed a beat! He kept speaking as if the disruption wasn't happening. Loved the part when he was speaking about traveling around the state and how much respect he felt, just as he said "respect" some idiot in the gallery started screaming "recall" and he just repeated his statement about Respect. Priceless!
I used to be a staunch Democrat. when I look at their behavior after Walker took office I am so glad I woke up a few years back and left that party. Congressmen that took off to Illinois because they couldn't accept that they weren't in majority or control anymore were such an embarrassment to this state. Then the Union workers and teachers camping in the Capitol made the National an international news with their bizarre behavior and destruction of property. I have no respect for any one that would behave like that in our Capital. Taping signs all over the marble and balconies like third graders, pounding on drums and dancing around not to mention scream in chanting, then camping out on the floors of the Capitol wasn't something I expected from educated adults! I stress the words "Educated adults" because they acted like village idiots. The first amendment is a powerful right . It gives us the right to voice our opinions and disagree with our government, gives us the right to assemble in public places. I have no argument with it at all. I do have an issue with EDUCATED adults going to the extreme behaviors that were displayed by the Stop Walker crowd. Many of them were Teachers, people that we employ to teach our children and grandchildren the meaning of words like Respect, we entrust them with each generation, expecting that they will help them grow up with pride in our government and Proud to be an American. Instead we had teachers who have, in my opinion set a poor example.
I have been watching Cspan occasionally, listening to the speeches and debates it's truly eye opening at times. I learned this week that the NLRB is supposed to "encourage the developement of collective bargaining." Wow I think that that will be a whole nother blog! enough said on this one for now!
